Hello again to all my friends.

Today I am going to tell you about our river. We have a landing. On our landing we have a canoe. We go swimming every day {when we get hot}. I have swam from Guyana to Venezuela. WOW! Well it isn't that far to Veno {VENEZUELA}. We go to Veno every week to buy food. When we swim, we have to dodge all the logs in the river, especially when the river is low. When it's high, it's fun to jump off our bank into the water. We have gone swimming in the river almost every day for a year, and we never knew there were aligators in the river. A few weeks ago, Ferara brought us an aligator (cayman) that he killed quite close to where we had gone on a picnic and been swimming just the day before. Scarry! I'm glad we didn't see it then.

We are trying to adopt 2 Amerindian childern, a boy, and a girl. The girl's name was: FRANCEY PERCY, and she is 6. Now her name is: CONNIE FRANCINE BURGDORFF. The boy's name was: CORWIN CORION PERCY, and he is 3. Now his name is: CORWIN JAMES BURGDORFF. Their mother died when she was having a baby, and their fathers left them. Since my Uncle David is going to the States for Thanksgiving and Christmas, we came in to Georgetown to work on the adoption. We will be here till December 29. We will arrive in the States on December 30, my 11th birthday. That will be a nice birthday present! We arrived in Guyana on November 5 of last year, my Dad's birthday. I guess we like traveling on birthdays.

Well, that about sums it up. I better be going. Love, Kara
