My baby brother Alvarez
|
Hi, my name is Connie and I am 6 years old. I have a little brother named Corwin. He is 3 years old. Last February our mother died when she was having
a baby. He is a little boy named Alvarez. Aunt Olive took him as her baby because Alyzza wanted a baby brother. We lived with Amai, our grandmother,
for awhile after our mother died. But it was hard for her to take care of us because she is old. And now we are getting a new Mommy and Daddy. They
are adopting us. We also have 3 new big sisters. Heidi and Kristen are in the States going to school. Kara is here with us. I like to play with my sister Kara.
We made a boat out of a box for our dollies. We are staying in Georgetown now to work on the adoption. I miss, Kaikan, especially swimming in the river.
But I like Georgetown because I can eat icecream. Someday, when the adoption is finished, I will go to the States with my new family. I can hardly wait!
I want to ride in a big airplane.
Your friend,
Connie
