| My brother Corwin and I ready for flight to Georgetown |
We went to the market. The market was pretty. There were lots of things to buy. I bought some sandals. I saw horses and donkeys and sheep and cows and goats. I've never seen those animals before, because they don't live in the jungle where I live. I also got to eat ice cream. It was cold and yummy! I've never eaten anything cold before. In the house where we stayed there was a shower and a potty. Where I live we take a bath in the river and have an outhouse. I had fun taking showers, but I missed swimming in the river.
There was also a fan that blew cold air. It felt good. I never saw a fan before, and my little brother and I stuck our fingers in the fan. That scared us, but we didn't get hurt. I had lots of fun in Georgetown. Maybe someday I will go to the States if Mommy and Daddy finish adopting me. Then I will see lots more new things.
Your friend,
Connie
