The 8th Annual Healthy Choices Health Fair will be held at the Glen Burnie Seventh-day Adventist Church on October 6, 2002.

  There will be a 10K and 5K run as well as a 1 Mile Fun/Run Walk, all beginning at 9 am. Sign-up sheets for Smoking Cessation classes, Vegetarian Cooking classes, Stress Management classes, and Family Budgeting classes will be available.

Map of Run/Walk Course

  The proceeds from the event will help our Community Services Center feed the homeless in the Glen Burnie area. The course runs directly to the scenic Baltimore and Annapolis Trail, and continues south along the trail to the respective turnaround points.

  Participants may be from any age or ability group. We concentrate on having fun, and emphasize the healthy aspects of being outdoors in a positive, Christian environment.
