Dear Church Member,

I am writing to introduce myself as your new pastor.    My name is Pastor Rick Harwood. My wife's name is Sharlene.   We have two children; Amber (12 years old) and Brittany
(10 years old).    We have just recently come from North Dakota.   We are hopeful to have opportunity to get to know each of our church members.

In the near future we have three events that are upcoming that I believe, would be of interest to you and your families.   We are hopeful that each of you will be able to attend.

• The first event a joint church picnic of the Fredericton, Harvey and Zealand churches,  takes place on Sunday, August 22, 1999 at Centennial Park beginning at 1:30 p.m.      Centennial Park is located just beyond MacTaquac Park.

• The second event, a joint church service of the Fredericton, Harvey and Zealand       churches, takes place on Saturday, August 28, 1999 at Jones' Field beginning at 9:30 a.m.     Jones' Field is also located just beyond MacTaquac Park.   There will also be a Fellowship Dinner following the service.

• The third event is an multi-media program live from New York City beginning on Friday, October 15, 1999 at 7:45 p.m. at the Fredericton Seventh-day Adventist Church.   The speaker is Doug Batchelor from Amazing Facts Ministries.   Here is a tremendous opportunity to renew our relationship with Jesus and to become familiar with doctrinal truths for these last days.   Please come and bring your family and friends.   We would love to meet and see you.
