Jesus Conference

JESUS CONFERENCE - MARCH 28, 1998:
The Jesus Conference was held on Saturday morning and afternoon at the Fredericton Seventh-day Adventist Church at 9:30 a.m. with opening remarks by Mayor Brad Woodside of the City of Fredericton.  What was the Jesus Conference?   It was a one day conference designed to reaffirm the biblical truth about the Biblical Jesus. “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” John 17:3.   The current religio-political climate had essentially made a conference of this nature pretty much necessary.   And the timing couldn’t be better.   Maritimers were recently rocked and shocked when the media began broadcasting the aberrant Christological views of certain religious leaders.   As shepherds of the flock, we owe to God and man to set the record straight.
"Foundational Lectures on the Biblical Jesus."
Local leaders shared from God's Word the historical and biblical truth about Jesus Christ of Nazareth.    Was Jesus really the Son of God?    Or was He just another great teacher?
Did He actually raise Himself from the dead?    And is He really coming again in the clouds of glory?
Our speakers addressed these, and other controversial subjects.
