When the ultimate injustice was being committed, our Saviour in love and compassion, asked His Father to forgive us. Yes, it's true, we were there. Every time we sin, we are guilty of driving those nails 2000 years ago. If we fail to forgive those who wrong us, are we not making invalid everything He did on our behalf? Luke 23 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left.34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. |

HE IS RISEN! |
| The Scripture affirms that
Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead. It’s in the Bible,
Matthew 28:5-6, TLB. "Then the angel spoke to the women. ‘Don’t
be frightened!’ he said, ‘I know you are looking for Jesus, who was
crucified, but He isn’t here! For He has come back to life again, just
as He said He would. Come in and see where His body was lying.’"
The resurrection happened exactly as the prophets said it would. It’s in the Bible, I Corinthians 15:3-4, TLB. "I passed on to you right from the first what had been told to me, that Christ died for our sins just as the Scriptures said He would, and that He was buried, and that three days afterwards He arose from the grave just as the prophets foretold." Because of Christ resurrection, He has the power to resurrect dead relationships and those who are spiritually dead. It’s in the Bible, Philippians 3:10 NIV. "I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death." Ephesians 2:1,4,5, NIV says, "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins…But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions---it is by grace you have been saved."
