More About Us

We believe in the soon return of Christ, and strive to make our lives ready to meet Him, as well as bringing other people to Him.

We believe in outreach evangelism.

Teams went door to door surveying the community to see what programs evoked interest, and also to promote awareness of our presence in the community. Bible study enrollment cards were given or left at many houses. Participants were blessed with numerous chances to witness for Christ.

--Net '98 Report--

NET ‘98, a worldwide Bible study via satellite, was also shown here, with a positive response from members and non-members. The church has both an analog and digital satellite system. Our large screen projection system provided a good viewing experience. There was a full church opening night. Almost 170 people attended for at least one night, and although the regular attendance was much smaller, there were those who came regularly.

On a more humorous note, we had times when getting the entire system working correctly was quite a challenge, such as on opening night! But God came through, and we were able to show every episode, with only minor difficulties.

A children’s program was held every night, with faithful volunteers teaching and entertaining a group of children. The children participated in various activities, such as singing, and crafts, as well as stories and Christian videos.

The final night of the series, November 14, a small ceremony was held, with presentations given to those who had attended for a large part of the meetings. Thanks was given to those who had helped with the project of Net ‘98. Testimonies were given by people telling how their lives had been touched in various ways.

Locally, Net’ 98 unified and strengthened the church. Worldwide, it was an excellent success, with numerous incidents indicating God’s special blessings on this global project to reach people for Jesus Christ.
