DON'T MISS the Elmhurst Church Picnic - June 6, 2009
A special event at the Hinsdale House of Prayer on Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m., will officially open the House to the community. A service of inspiration with music, praise and testimonies will take place on the lawn in front of the House. Special guest, Michael Woerner, president of the Village of Hinsdale, will offer prayer and words of encouragement. This will also kick off Week of Prayer, May 1 to 7, culminating at midnight Thursday on the National Day of Prayer. The House will be open May 1 to 6 from 6 a.m. to midnight, and Thursday, May 7, from midnight to midnight. Everyone is welcome, individually or in groups. The Hinsdale House of Prayer is located at 427 E. Walnut Street -- adjacent to the Hinsdale Adventist Church parking lot.
Chicagoland Leadership Conference 2009: Sabbath, May 9, 3:15-7:30 PM, Yugoslavian SDA Church (5608 N. Pulaski Rd, Chicago). This year's theme is spiritual life and discipleship with an emphasis on devotional Bible reading and prayer, adult, children's and youth Sabbath Schools and small groups. Keynote speaker is Pastor Rick Remmers along with seminar presenters Dr. Donna Habenicht and Chicagoland pastors and members. All are welcome!
