Nurture, Evangelize, and Serve

Our Mission

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
We aspire to be a nurturing church family,
Committed to sharing the gospel message,
And following Christ’s example of a life of service and healing.

Our Ministry Goals:

Through the active ministry of each member we will:

1.  Bond our children, youth, and young adults to Jesus
through active participation and leadership in church life,
dynamic programming, and our loving involvement in each young person's life.

2.  Work to strengthen and enrich our members through educational programming, training, and outreach.

3. Assess specific needs within our community and work to meet those needs by developing programs rooted in the gospel.

Special Programs:

Will Congress Protect Sabbath Keepers?

We are currently in delicate negotiations over the Workplace Religious Freedom Act, a bill designed to ensure that all people of faith-including Sabbath keepers-are treated fairly in the workplace. This is a very time-consuming and very difficult process. We would sincerely appreciate your prayers for wisdom, for patience, and for ultimate success in passing this vital bill.

Far too many faithful men and women are being demeaned, demoted and dismissed for no crime other than keeping the Ten Commandments. Some days the obstacles to doing anything about it seem insurmountable. But we know that with God, all things are possible. Please uphold our team in prayer as we strive at this critical juncture to advance the cause of religious liberty entrusted to us by God. If you still have not contacted your representative in Congress about this very important bill, please click here. It will only take a few minutes.

Links to the full written testimony, an audio of the hearing, and an Adventist Review Article with video of our testimony embedded are all located under the heading in red "Workplace Religious Freedom Act Congressional Hearing" located half way down the following page: http://www.religiousliberty.info/article.php?id=4

Art of the Month

Belshazzar's Feast, by Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn   (oil on canvas ca. 1635/39)
"In the same hour the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king’s countenance changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his hips were loosened and his knees knocked against each other." Daniel 5:5-6
