I am thrilled that you have found the Dothan First Seventh-day Adventist Church's website.

As a congregation of Seventh-day Adventists, we believe God's love for us was demonstrated through giving His only Son, Jesus. He died that we might receive forgiveness from sin, release from guilt, and eternal life through faith in Him, not through our own behavior. Recognizing this amazing love, the Dothan First Church seeks to share it with the world. The Holy Spirit imparts life to us and equips us for a ministry of service to those around us. Compelled by Christ's commission, we strive to share with others this Good News, including the message of the Three Angels of Revelation 14 and the imminence of Jesus' visible and literal return to this earth. Holding the Bible as the only authority for truth and practice, and believing that the Ten Commandments have validity for our lives today, we observe them out of our love for God. Celebrating our creation, redemption, and sanctification, we worship God on His special day, the Biblical Sabbath, or Saturday.
