Prayer Request Page

Prayer is the answer to every problem in life...So often we do not pray in certain situations because from our standpoint the outlook is hopeless.  But nothing is impossible with God.  Nothing is so entangled that it cannot be remedied; no human relationship is too strained for God to bring about reconciliation and understanding; no habit is so deep rooted that it cannot be overcome.  No one is so weak that he cannot be strong; no one is so ill that he cannot be healed.  No mind is so dull that it cannot be made brilliant. .  If anything is causing worry or anxiety, let us stop rehearsing the difficulty and trust God for healing, love, and power.  EGW - R&H

We are a family.  When one is ill we are all less for it.  Let us remember those who can no longer pray for themselves.

bullet.jpg Please pray for our new pastor.  He has a lot of work to do and needs an extra portion of the Holy Spirit as time is short and the harvest is ready.

bullet.jpg We need to pray for Brother M's son.  He is getting better but needs more healing.

bullet.jpgPlease pray for TJ and Jessica.
New baby, Terry Jr. has serious birth defects.  Needs prayer to stay alive.
Parents need prayer for Jesus to come into their lives.

bullet.jpg Please pray for CH uncle.  He is dying of cancer and doesn't know God.

bullet.jpg  Please pray for Joe L.  He has been diagnosed with ALS.  (Lou Gehrigs') disease.  Please pray that he and his family find a relationship with God.  Please pray that he receive the strength to endure.   He has been forced to retire due to his health.  Pray that God will help him to cope.

bullet.jpg Please pray for Bill A. He is having escalating problems with an old head injury and needs to get better and know Jesus.

bullet.jpg Please pray for our pastor.  He has great responsibility and many cares.  Pray that God will give him wisdom and strength as he seeks to lead us.

We have a prayer powered pulpit

bullet.jpg Dear Friends in Jesus Christ, Please pray for a REVIVAL for Nordmore Sunday School Area in Norway.  A lot of children and a lot of leaders.  We really need God's blessings in all things.  Pray for me and my family also.  God bless you!
Hans Orset, Sunday School Minister in Norway.

bullet.jpg Please pray for the growth of the Bettendorf Church. Thank God for the success of the meetings taking place now at the Bettendorf Library.

bullet.jpg Let us pray for our President and all those in Government.  We know that the only authority is God.  If someone is in office it is because God allows it.  Help us to remember them in our prayers.

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.

I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.

My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.

All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer..

No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.

For in his hands God held a book;It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down... But never found the time"
