The church will begin its small group ministry just at the conclusion of the Daniel Seminar.
What is small group Ministry? Its the creation of small groups in the church to facilitate member retention, evangelism, gift building, and so much more. These
small unit are different from the sabbath school unit which only meets at church for bible review, rather these groups will meet outside of church to seek to nurture and
build membership through fellowship. Persons interested in being trained to be small group leaders are asked to meet with Pastor this afternoon at 6:00 in the Pastors Study.
We need a minimum of 25 small group leaders in Centreville. A small group could be the Nehemiah's groups that we have now, and if your group is bigger than 7 then you need to form two groups for the purpose of Cell groups out of that Nehemiah's team.
Examples of small groups. A group of Members who exercise regularly each week, or members who live in a certain area. Small groups should not be more than 5-7 persons.
All Adventist business persons or owners are asked to meet with Pastor Paul tonight following the seminar.
Each members is asked to bring a food item or items this and every Sabbath to church so we can give out in the community. The PM department would like to continue its walk about each month accompanied with food items to give to selected homes in the Mason Addition area. Di you bring your food item this week? The Love your neighbor is ready to accept.
Prayer cards are available in your bulletin each sabbath. Fill them out as your petitions will be placed before the Lord each week during the intercessory prayer time and at prayer meeting. If you have a prayer request that you would like the church to pray for specifically just indicate the same to us via your prayer card and we will do so. This Sabbath you will be invited to come to the alter for prayer if you so desire.
