The
Cayman NetNews recently selected Angela Piercy as the Employee of the
Week. Mrs. Piercy is the a member of the George Town Adventist Church.
The following is an excerpt.
It is often thought that by the very nature of their jobs
journalists are jaded. However, Angela Piercy dispels that notion with
her beautiful smile.
Ms. Piercy has worked with top newspapers in Syracuse, New York in a
senior role for many years. She moved to the Cayman Islands five years
ago when she married Emerson Piercy. Angela is employed with
Government Information Services (GIS) as an Information Officer.
"What I like about GIS is that it is always challenging and
changing. I think it is a privilege to have a position that allows mw
to inform people about the working of government and how it affects
them," she explained.
