About Ellen G. White

CMC’s Goals

To make the gospel the center of our teaching and preaching and the motivation of all our actions;
To give priority to the development of caring relationships among members of the church community, and also to provide meaningful worship services and other experiences which will make spiritual growth possible;
To see every active member involved in a lifestyle of outreach to nonChristians and unchurced associates, friends, and family members;
To recognize every member as a minister and to use each one’s gift for building up the church;
To assist in meeting the needs of the poor, homeless, and hurting in our community;
To conduct entry events which will meet the needs of our friends and those living in the community;
To engage in those forms of public evangelism which will lead others to a commitment to Christ and membership at Capital Memorial Church; and
To give priority to the development of caring relationships with former members, inactive members, and young adults (single and married) and to provide meaningful programs and opportunity for involvement and spiritual growth to this group.
