Everything human has a beginning-
From something all things stem.
He, alone, the sovereign of Time
Has no beginning to end.
All that is human is temporal, finite,
Limited by His design.
But God never changes, He's always the same;
Infinite, eternal, divine.
Wisdom and power and all that is good
Have their beginning in Him.
And if we'd resemble our Maker, we must
Get rid of all that is sin.
Our lives and our plans must have a new start:
All saints that same path have trod.
And when faith is tested, remember these words:
"In the beginning God…".
