why is your family important?

Family Ministries is a ministry of care. It cares not only for the church family, but reaches out to help the local community. People who are lonely or estranged or searching for God are encouraged to experience love and friendship.

Our mission is to help bind families together.

This mission can be demonstrated through ministries of love:

1. "Special Occasion" ministry

To help church members to know their church cares for them, we conduct a "Special Occasion" remembrance ministry. Each member's birthday or wedding anniversary is remembered with a poem and a greeting from the church.

2. "Flower" ministry

We believe that you can "say it with flowers". Every Sabbath, flowers which have been gathered from the gardens of church members are attractively arranged and presented to visitors, those experiencing a special occasion or a family crisis. The flowers are presented with a scroll, which is a poem with an appropriate greeting from the church family.

a program on information to share with a grieving family on how to plan a funeral

a program on marriage enrichment (how to be "hitched and happy")

We believe that we have a church that is warm, friendly, tolerant, hospitable and one that concentrates on family support. We invite you to come along and find out for yourself.
