Church Pathfinders scoop first position yet again! (7
September)
For more that 4 consecutive
years, the Broadhurst Church Pathfinders have been the winners of the
annual Pathfinder Fairs.This year the fair was held at Mochudi. It is
still clear in our minds that the past year they voluntaritarily opted
for second position instead of first just to encourage others. "Thank
God and the support of the parents and the church at large", was
all the leadership of the Pathfinders could say.
New
church branch opened at Motswedi CJSSS in Ledumang (16
August 2003)
After being natured
ever since the end of the Pentecost 2003 crusade, the newly baptised were
distributed to the various areas of worship. In the Gaborone North area,
they were allocated to worship at Motswedi CJSS in the Ledumang area.
The company consists more than 20 members plus some Broadhurst Church
members who are delegated to be care-takers of the company. These include
among others Elder Chambwa, Brother Tim and Sister Johnson.
P80,000
raised for the Church Builiding Fund (3rd
August 2003)
The afternoon
of 3rd August 2003 will never be forgoton as the whole Broadhurst church
and the community injected more than P80,000 into the Church building
fund. Present were members from various churches around the region and
some prominent people from the community like Ministers B.Sebetlela and
M. Nasha.
More
than 500 baptised after Pentecost 2003 (17
May 2003)
More than 500 new converts
were added into the church after this crusade. This crusade was lead by
Evangelist Fitz Henry and Prayer Evangelist Patricia Langley. Every evening
from 13th April 2003 to 17th May 2003, thousands gathered at Ditshupo
ShowGrounds to hear the good news from the servants of God. A great jubilee
baptism was conducted at Phakalane Primary School swimming pool the sabbath
of the 17th May. May God continue to bless the spreading of His word.
