Students may start anytime and enroll via the below registration form. PROCESS: All courses are full online courses and require only Internet and email access. You may study anytime, anywhere, 24/7. No textbooks are needed. Each course consists of 12 modules, a project in four parts, and a final examination. All courses are for 3 semester units or 9 CEUs. Do not submit attachments and do not cut and past from other sources. Plan to participate is online bulletin board discussions. More details on taking these courses will be given in the online and telephone orientation after enrollment. GRADING: Grades given are A (excellent, 91-100%), B (good, 81-90), C (satisfactory, 71-80), D (passing, 61-70), F (failing, 0-60). To receive an A or "excellent", students must include in their answers unique and insightful components that show a deeper grasp of the assignment. The normal or minimum fulfillment of the assignment will be graded as a B or C. Generally, the assignments are 50% of the course grade, the project 30% and the final examination 20%. EMAIL: Every email to the professor needs to give the following in the subject line: 1) Course, 2) your first and last name, and 3) the module number (M1, M2 etc) that you are submitting, in that order. All assignments go to edu22@hootmail.com. TIME-LIMIT and REFUNDS: A student has up to 6 month to complete a course. Students who need an additional 6 months to complete a course may do so on the payment of an additional $99. Normally, the student should plan to submit a module every week on a chosen day. If the course does not prove satisfactory, the full fee will be refunded within the first month after registration. Half of the fee may be refunded from day 31-90. There is no refund if the student stops his course after 90 days. The registration fee is not refundable. Limited scholarships are available for professionals in the Ukraine. ACCREDITATION and APPROVALS: All courses are college-level courses but there is no guarantee that they can be transferred to any college or university. Participants need to seek the approval from the appropriate officials before enrolling in any course or programs to satisfy any degree, state credential, professional organization, or school district requirements. B201, B301, B501, B601 Each course considers the Biblical books under study as basic textbooks and source material. The approach for each course follows the pattern below. OBJECTIVES: At the end of these courses, you will: a. Describe the main periods, people and events of Biblical history. b. Compare and contrast various issues and value systems. c. Identify the main concerns of various authors. d. Relate Biblical issues to current concerns and apply the lessons learned. Consider the links in the Online Library Resources above. MODULES: M1-3 Timelines,
Periods, Culture The assignment pattern for the 12 modules is: a. Outline the topic, using complete sentences. b. Compare and contrast the data with another set in that topic. c. Trace the impact of the topic on modern life and current concerns. Each module section a-c should be 150-400 words and deal with 4-10 topics of the module title (the first title is Timelines, etc.) There are no quizzes, but there is a project and final examination as described below in detail.
