Brief Bio of Department Head-
Christine O’Brien is a member of the Devonshire Seventh-day Adventist Church. She has served the church in several capacities over the years, but her passion has always been for the Singles Ministry.  Christine currently serves as the Singles Ministry Leader and Assistant Family Life Leader at Devonshire.
 

Mission Statement-
To plan and develop programs that will effectively meet the spiritual, emotional, relational and social needs of singles within the churches and our community. 
 

Goals-
1. To meet once per month for planning and discussions
2. To present a program, workshop or seminar once per quarter focusing on issues relevant to the needs of singles
3. To hold a social event once per quarter 
4. To launch a Book Club, Single Parent Support Group, Bible Study Group
5. To reach out and embrace singles in the community; showing love, sharing Jesus, inviting and encouraging them into fellowship with us
6. To promote Singles Awareness and ministry in all of our churches 
7. To distribute all promotions, invitations and information relating to singles events both local and overseas, to the churches
