Jeff Jordan was born deaf of an unknown cause. Upon graduating with a BA degree in Deaf Studies from California State University, Northridge, he taught American Sign Language at two community colleges for two years. Jeff felt called by God to become a minister for the Deaf, so he and his wife moved to Michigan in the summer of 1994 and enrolled at the Theological Seminary at Andrews University. Jeff is the first deaf student to graduate with a Masters of Divinity degree from Andrews University, December, 1996.He was called to plant a Deaf Church in the Atlanta area. The Deaf currently worship in the chapel at the Atlanta North Church of SDA. He and his wife Melissa of 10 years have three boys with a 4th baby due in June of 2004.

Pastor Jeff's vision is to spread the love and hope of Jesus to the Deaf in the metro Atlanta area. Atlanta North Deaf Church provides an environment friendly for deaf people, using ASL as the primary mode of communication. Pastor Jeff also uses power point during his sermon to make the worship service more visually stimulating. There are nearly 6 million deaf, or 34 million hearing impaired people living in North America, and they need to know about Jesus and His incredible love for them. Pastor Jeff loves to give Bible studies and visit Deaf people at their homes, lead out small groups, train Deaf members on how to minister for the Lord, and give evangelistic meetings. Pastor Jeff travels extensively through out the country, giving sermons, seminars and presentations at Deaf camp meetings and churches. He also has a heart for mission work among the Deaf in other countries. He has worked in India where the population of deaf people is over 19 million!

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14, NKJV
