Special Church Service

We were honored to have Elder Fred Griffith come and preach to us at Atlanta North Deaf Church of Seventh-day Adventists on Sabbath, April 5, 2003. Pastor Griffith is currently ministering to the Deaf at two churches in Northern California. The Deaf congregation received blessings from the "Righteousness by Faith in Christ" messages.

During the worship service, two babies were dedicated to the Lord. One was my 3rd son Jared Todd and the other one was my niece Mariana Mae Michalek. Pastor Fred dedicated my son and I dedicated my niece. The babies' grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins were there to witness. There were several gift wrapped packages on display as a symbol that these babies are truly a gift from God and we are to cherish each gift.

After the service, we enjoyed a delicious potluck. Then, we returned back to the chapel and Pastor Fred continued his sermon for another hour. A total of 52 people came to worship.
