What
have Others Said?
"Twelve" |

- If
you were asked to name your favorite number what would it
be? What has made that number meaningful to you?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
I have noticed that certain numbers have
signifcance. I have thought the number of
eigth on the Ark significant. The number
seven is obviously very special and numbers 12
and 24 appear very important.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
7 has always been my favourite number. Maybe
because Ilived at 7 Gerbera Drvie all my life and
I met my wife at 21 Bronx Ave (multiples of 7)
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Two, because I am two years old in the Lord.

WITH THE HOLY GHOST AS EVIDENCED BY SPEAKING IN
OTHER TONGUES AS THE SPIRIT GAVE ME
UTTERANCE.GREAT JOY AND LIGHTNESS AS THE LOAD AND
BURDEN OF SIN WAS LIFTED OFF MY SHOULDRS AS I WAS
TRULY FORGIVEN
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Probably in the early 60's. My father
fought in WWII so I initially had a feeling of

- What
possible reasons do you find in scripture for Dan and
Ephriam missing the last list?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
The scripture indicates they had turned to idols.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
Because of idol worship.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Because they worshipped idols they weren't
delivered.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
FOR THEY WORSHIP IDOLS AND NOT THE TRUE GOD
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
Both were idol worshipers thus cutting themselves
off to the blessings that God wanted to bestow
upon them.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
IDOL WORSHIP

- Helen, June 14, 2002
they lived too far away.Ephriam liked idols.
- Could you
be influenced by some form of idolatry within the next
week? How?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
Yes, this is possible. Materialism and
focusing on it or perhaps the worship of the
creation rather than the creator.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
No
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Yes, the television is a type of idol.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
ONLY IF I LET MY GUARD DOWN AND DON'T HAVE JESUS
WORD IN MY HEART.

Yes. Any of the following can be an idol is

- Alan, April 12, 2001
VERY EASILY.SIMPLY BY READING MY HOROSCOPE.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Not that I can think of.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
NO
- Denice, November 10, 2001
no
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Telivision, Sports, Hobbies, The Holidays.
Just as Israel became so influenced in Egypt
because that is just how they lived for 400
years, we now again live with traditions and
celebrations that most people don't even
understand what they mean. After much
study, all but about two major holidays are
straight from pagen sun worship! They have
been "baptized" as so-called Christian,
but truth be known, they are pagen holidays and
idol worship. Most of us worship a tree
once a year, making it the center theme of our
homes with great expense and elaborate
decorations. God should be our focus
everyday of the year in simplicity and obedience.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
no way

- Do
you recall giving someone a conditional promise? What did
you do if the conditions weren't met?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
It anulls the agreement.
15. But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt
not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God,
to observe to do all his commandments and his
statutes which I command thee this day; that all
these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake
thee:
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
My daughter. If she studied hard and did her best
at school no matter what her results were so long
as she did her best that would be my birth day
present from her to me. This last term she got
all A's. She has always done her best and when
ever she want to give me something special either
for Christmas or father's day or birthday this is
always what I tell her - good grade at school.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Yes, I got angry.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
NO I HAVE NOT.
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
A conditional promise is one that if the task is
done, then the rewards are there. But if it
goes undone then the promise is not fulfilled.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
YES, MY CHILDREN. IF THEY TRIED TO DO AS WAS
ASKED I FULFILLED MY PROMISE AND ASSURED THEM
THAT THEY WERE STILL LOVED .
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Yes. I didn't reward them.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
I CAN NOT REMEMBER GIVING SOMEONE A CONDITIONAL
PROMISE AT THIS TIME.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
yes--I didn't do what I promised if they didn't
meet the conditions
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
When the conditions are not met on their end,
then I do not grant the promised reward.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
They were blessed if they obeyed the Lord.
I don' recall giving a conditional promise,
- By
the time of Jesus did national Israel met the conditions?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and
given to a nation bringing forth the fruits
thereof.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
No.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
No.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
NO ISREAL DID NOT MEET THE CONDITIONS
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
Time was running out for Israel. Jesus came
to them, teaching them in hope that they would
turn from their sinfulness. But ultimately,
they rejected Him, and He told them that their
'house was left unto them desolate'.

new nation? How did he or she feel about it?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
It is a good feeling to have a home.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
Yes, they were happy.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
No,but I think they were very happy.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
NO I DID NOT
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
I don't know anyone who has been.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
No
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Yes. She was elated and proud.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
NO I DO NOT KNOW OF ANYONE.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
no
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Those who believe in Christ and obey Him
- Helen, June 14, 2002
no I don't
- Is there
any favoritism in the new nation of the saved and how
does a person become part of the national inheritance?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
There is niether Jew nor Greek - we are all
chldren of God.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in
Christ Jesus.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
No, Just accept Christ in your life and you will
be a part of the New Nation.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
No, we are one.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
WE'RE BAPTIZED INTO CHRIST AND PUT ON CHRIST.
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
There is no favortism. All are heirs to the
promises if we accept Christ's sacrifice.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
NONE. FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
No favoritism. You become part of the
national inheritance by accepting Jesus into your
heart through baptizim.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
NO- BE BAPTIZED IN JESUS CHRIST.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
no---by being babtised into Christ
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
All who believe in Christ, are baptized into
Christ, and put on Christ are the same to God,
and will inherit the kingdom.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
no we all belong to Jesus.
- There
is no racial or sexual inequality in God's spiritual
nation. God loves Israelites and non-Israelites, females
and males alike and saves them in the same way. Does this
surprise you or is it what you would expect of God?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
This seems right and in line with a perfect and
just God.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
It's what i would expect.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
It's what I would expect of God.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
IT IS WHAT I EXPECTED OF GOD
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
I'm not surprised. But there are many
aspects of God's character that I don't
understand. God does not see as man sees,
thank goodness!!!!!
- Alan, April 12, 2001
YES AND NO.THE OLD TESTAMENTWAS ENTIRELY AIMED AT
HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE,ISRAEL.IT STILL CROSSES MY MIND
THAT WHILE THROUGH JESUS WE ARE NOW GRAFTED IN
THAT THERE COULD STILL BE SOME BIAS TO HIS PEOPLE
OF FIRST CHOICE.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
It's what I expect of God.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
IT IS WHAT I WOULD EXPECT OF GOD.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
It is what I would expect of God
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
God is just, I would expect Him to be merciful
and righteous above anything I could try to do or
imagine.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
what I would expect.
- Why might
Paul sound a little surprised in Ephesians 3:4-6?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
This was not known in ages past.
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the
sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy
apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 That
the Gentiles should be fellow heirs.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
Call nothing unclean, in those days Jews didn't
mix with gentles especially in religion but Jesus
taught that salvation is for all nations and
races.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Other ages were not known as yet.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
FOR IT WAS REVEALED THROUGH THE GOSPELS
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
Paul was raised as a Jew, with the mindset that
Jews and only Jews were God's chosen
people. Now he sees that this is not the
case.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
HE WAS GIVEN INSIGHT THAT THE GENTILES WERE NOW
INHERITORS OF THE KINGDOM, A MYSTERY REVEALED.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Because up until that time Gentiles were not
accepted as Gods chosen people.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
MAY UNDERSTAND MY KNOWLEDGE IN THE MYSTERY OF
CHRIST.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
because it was not made known to the other
generations
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Being brought up as a Pharisee, he was taught
that it was through rules and bloodline that his
inheritance would come (incorrectly as it
was.) Then in Eph 3:4-6, he explains that
it was just then revealed by the Holy Spirit that
Gentiles would through the saving life of
Christ would inherit along with the believing
Israelites! It was by obeidance and faith,
not blood line.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
that the gentiles are considered the same as the
Israelites
- As you enter
into the beautiful kingdom of God, why have you chosen
the one "12" above the others?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
Well, they all seem to represent
prefection. My favorite may be the 144
cubits width of the wall. For me, this 12
x12 concept represents God's perfect knowledge
and justice for all enter within the His kingdom.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
The thrill of entering the presence of the Lord.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
The twelve gates is the entrance to heaven.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
THEY ARE ALL PRECIOUS TO ME.
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
The apostles walked with Jesus. That's what
I want to do.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
STADIA(12,000). THE SIZE.MY HOPE THAT THERE WILL
BE MANY PEOPLE THERE. IN THE TOTAL SCHEME OF THE
WORLD SINCE CREATION, MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW ARE
CHOSEN. MY HOPE IS THAT ME AND MY FAMILY WILL BE
THERE.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Because we (God's people) are the tribes.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
BECAUSE ONE MEANS MORE THEN THE OTHERS.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
because it is the entrance into God's kingdom. a
begining of a new life
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
I chose 12 foundations, because it is the basic
teachings of truth that are so important for us
to know now, that we may know, be ready, and
follow, so we may enter in.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
12 crops of fruit . I like fruit and can't
wait to see this
- Looking
exclusively for security in the glories of this earth?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
Die to self and live separately from the ways of
the world.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
By showing them the there is nothing that can
compare on earth to what is to come and that what
is here will totally be destroyed because of the
curruption it symbolises.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
I will tell them about the twelve gates of
Heaven.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
BY LOOKING AT THE BEAUTIES OF GOD IN EVERYTHING
AROUND US.
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
That nothing lasts on this Earth. Our only
security is in Jesus. If we accept Him, all
else will be ours.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
LIFE IS FLEETING AND WE LEAVE THE WORLD AS WE
ENTERED IT TAKING NOTHING WITH US. THE ONLY
THINGS THAT LAST ARE WHAT WE DO FOR OUR LORD AND
SAVIOR . THE REWARDS IN HEAVEN ARE GREAT AND
EVERLASTING
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
I will first empathize with them and assure them
that I searched there for fulfillment but never
found it. True happiness can only be
attained when we allow Jesus to direct our lives
for only He knows what will bring us fulfillment.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
THEN I THINK WE SHOULD LOOK TO JESUS CHRIST FOR
SECURITY OF THIS WORLD BECAUSE HE CREATED IT.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
tell them they will never find security in
earthly things because the only secure hope we
have in is Jesus and show them how to obtain the
truth and accept him
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Ashes and smoke - I spoke this just yesterday to
my husband as we travelled down the road... all
the things that we treasure on this earth will
one day be nothing but ashes and smoke, where as
the treasure in heaven is never ending, no rust,
no moths, no thieves. Things can be taken
away on earth, but never in God's kingdom.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
How wonderful!
- Looking
for the modern nation of Israel to lead the world?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
This would be God's called people. Don't believe
that the modern Israel is.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
Explain the that the real Israel of the Lord is
that body of believers that accept that Jesus
died for their sins and this group is out of many
one people which actually is the motto of
Jamaica, My country.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Tell them about the twelve tribes of Isreal.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
THE MODERN NATION OF ISREAL WILL BE COMING IN THE
CLOUDS OF GLORY.
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
By pointing out to them the numerous scriptures
related to the conditions God put on obedience
and show them how they failed to live up to those
conditions.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
IT IS NOT TO BE . WE WHO BELIEVE ARE NOW ALL THE
SEED OF ABRAHAM AND WILL RULE THE WORLD IN THE
NEW JERUSALEM WITH CHRIST.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
I hope to be educated enough to show them that
prophetic Isreal is all God's people, where
historical Isreal was the actual nation.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
I AM NOT SURE ABOUT ANYONE LEADING THE WORLD
EXCEPT JESUS CHRIST.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
God is the leader of the world.
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
The "twelve" tribes of earthly Israel
are so intermarried, that there is no separate 12
tribes anymore... Only by the scriptures as
we discussed can we see that it is spiritual
Israel, the spiritual people called to be God's
choosen people, because we chose to follow and
believe in Him, that will the Israel of
phrophesy.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
will it? I would like to see that.
- Looking
for life in the teachings of humanity?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
Must remmember that it is better to follow the
commandments of God than the traditions of men.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
Look for it in the life of Jesus and His Love.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Show humanity to others by helping them.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
BY LOOKING AT THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS ON HUMANITY
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
I received a Christmas gift a few years ago. It
was a book about the Hubble Space telescope.
Numerous times in that book, the author stated
that several 'theories' were proven wrong by that
telescope and that scientists had to
'rethink' their positions. This tells me
that men don't KNOW everything. They make
alot of educated guesses but ultimately, they are
still human. God is never wrong. If we
follow Him, we won't be wrong either.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
HUMANS RETURN TO DUST . IT IS ONLY THROUGH THE
RESURECTION OF JESUS THAT WE HAVE A HOPE OF LEFE
EVERLASTING. ALL THINGS HUMAN DIE.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
I have a video on creation by Dr. Kent Hovind,
who used to be a science teacher. He is now
a baptist minister in Fresno, CA. and the tape
was given to me by a devout SDA who teaches home
school. She touts that it is the best
arguement for creation vs. evolution she has ever
seen and I agree with her. If you would
like to see this tape, feel free to e-mail me and
I will copy and mail you one. Dr. Hovind
did not copywrite it in the hopes that it would
be freely shared.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
BY STUDYING THE TEACHINGS AND WORDS OF
JESUS CHRIST.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
show them the teachings of Jesus
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
When left to human devices, we have become like
Babel, Sodom & Gahmora, life before the flood
- only by turning away from trying to fix
everything according to human standards can we
grasp the truth and love of God.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
Looking for quite a few different things.
- For a kingdom
to be a reality there must be a king. In what ways can
Jesus reign in your life now?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
He can reurn me to the creation originally
designed or perhaps even better that being in the
Image of God.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
By accepting and keeping His Laws and the
testimonies through faith in Him alone.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Give our lives to Him.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
BY ASKING JESUS TO SPEAK TO ME THOUGH HIS WORD
AND ASKING FOR GUIDANCE
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
I can turn to Him anytime. He can give me the
wisdom I need to make the right decisions.
- Alan, April 12, 2001
THROUGH THE INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WHICH
WILL LEAD AND DIRECT ME IN MY DAILY WALK. HELPING
ME WHEN I VEER TO THE LEFT OR TO THE RIGHT. IT IS
IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT HIM TO DO AS HE WISHES. WE
STILL FALL SHORT BECAUSE OF OUR HUMANITY BUT
JESUS IS THERE TO PICK US UP.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
He is the only one who really knows what will
make me happy so if I submit to let Him work in
my life, He will.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
BY COMING INTO MY HEART AND HELP ME IN IN MY
CHRISTIAN LIFE TO ASSURE ME OF MY SALVATION AND
WHERE I AM GOING AND THAT I AM LIVING THE WAY I
AM SUPPOSED TO.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
In all ways as long as I allow him to rule.
Also by providing me with a role model to follow
so that others may see the love of God in
me
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Jesus is not only my Savior, but my Lord, my
King, my God. By doing everything (from the
smallest task to the grandest) as unto Him, then
I am His servant. It is always more
pleasurable to do something for someone who will
appreciate it, and I know that God knows
everything, and His is pleased when I give my all
to Him in everything, even when earthly people
may not notice.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
He is the best of everything.
- You
receive your original nationality by birth. How can
baptism bring you into a new nation?
- John, January 2, 1999
For the old man is cast away. May the new man
shine thru as in the brillance of the Son of God.
- Mike, May 3, 2000
It symbolizes our union with Christ when we truly
believe in and follow him remembering that new
life is the reward for those who follow Him.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
By being baptised of the water and the spirit we
are born again as a new creation or creature of
the Kingdom.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
By baptism you are a new creation.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
FOR WE LEAVE THE OLD LIFE BEHIND AND GLORY TO OUR
HEAVENLY FATHER
- Alan, April 12, 2001
IT IS A SYMBOLIC BUT IMPORTANT STEP IN BEING A
CHRISTIAN. WE ARE SYMBOLICLY DYING TO OURSELVES,
BEING BURIED WITH HIM AND BEING RESURRECTED AS A
NEW PERSON IN CHRIST
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
You would be baptized into Christianity which is
a whole new life and family.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
BECAUSE IT IS THE DEATH,BURIAL AND RESURRECTION
OF JESUS THE SON OF GOD.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
when we are baptised we are a new creation
"born again" the old has gone
away
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
By understanding the Truth, and committing to
follow that Truth, we seal that commitment to
walk anew by baptism in Christ. We express
to man & God that we want to enter into Truth
& Life.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
exceptance
- Is God's
promise of forgiveness conditional? Why?
- Mike, May 3, 2000
Yes, it is conditional upon receiving the gift
that being to receive Jesus and follow Him in the
His Truth.
- Dwight, June 27, 2000
Obedience bring blessings, disobedience brings
curse.
- Donna, September 11, 2000
Yes, you must pattern your life after Him.
- Roger, February 26, 2001
YES, FOR HE WANT US TO SERVE HIM AND NO OTHER
GODS
- Pauline, April 6, 2001
Yes "If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins."
- Alan, April 12, 2001
YES. WE MUST BELIEVE IN HIS SON AND THE WORK OF
THE CROSS.THE CONDITIONS WE MUST MEET ARE ,
REPENT, BE BAPTIZED AND THEN WE WILL RECEIVE THE
GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND BE ENDUED WITH POWER
FROM ON HIGH.
- Sherril, August 3, 2001
Yes. He requires us to turn to Him and
repent because God will dwell with the saved and
God cannot be in the presence of sin.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
YES-BECAUSE GOD DOES NOT LIE.WHAT GOD SAYS IS THE
TRUTH AND HE LOVES VERY MUCH.

yes, we have to believe in and trust him
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Yes - we must confess & repent of sin - which
means to turn away from sin. Revelations
says that nothing defiling will enter in, we must
become clean in Jesus and walk in His life to be
able to enter into Heaven. If we stop
walking with and in Him, then we can not continue
the path.

OTHERS IN THE FAITH ARE NOW MY TRUE FAMILY,
BROTHERS AND SISTERS. I HAVE A NEW FAMILY. MY
EARTHLY FAMILY IS OF THE FLESH AND WILL PASS
AWAY. I ALSO WANT IT TO MEAN THAT I AM NOT
ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.

to love out brothers and sisters.
- Linda, October 1, 2001
THAT WE ARE TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS GOD LOVES THE
CHURCH.
- Denice, November 10, 2001
we are brothers in Christ
- Tamara, November 11, 2001
Since God is our Father, everyone around us is
our sibling, our family. It would be nice
if we treated each other like loving family
members... we are all realated. From Adam
& Eve and then from Noah again... we
are all realated, and should be brothers &
sisters in Christ.
- Helen, June 14, 2002
