YUMMY POT STICKERS

In a large bowl assemble the following:
1/4 butternut/ Spanish squash boiled/drained
and outer layer removed and mashed
2 tbsps margarine
1 green onion chopped
onion/garlic/salt & pepper to taste
Pkg of round wonton wrappers
(you can add to your mixture any vegetarian analogs if desired)
 
Press into a wonton shell 1/2 Tsp of above mixture and press edges together and set aside - continue to make pot-stickers until mixture runs out.  In a non-stick fry pan add a little oil and place pot-stickers on a low flame, turn every few minutes to cook wonton wrappers evenly. If they begin to stick add a little warm water to help in the process of turning over. When the pot-sticker is crispy/browned on both sides remove and set aside until all are done. Arrange all around dipping sauce on a large platter, provide chopsticks for interest and sprinkle sliced green onions over all.
 
Spicy Dipping Sauce
1/4 cup soya sauce
1/4 rice vinegar  or juice of 1 lemon
1 Tsp of sugar
pinch of salt
A splash of sesame oil
1 Green Onion sliced finely
