VALENTINE BROILED TOMATOES

Vine ripened tomatoes cut in half
Brushed with olive oil and dusted lightly with garlic powder/onion powder also with a little salt/black pepper

Generously sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of each tomato and place under the toaster broiler/ oven broiler for a few minutes (keep watching them as not to burn them) When they are browned a nice soft carmel colour, you will now cover them with either parmesan cheese or mozzarella cheese and a little of parsley flakes for colour. Return the tomatoes to the broiler for the final bit approximately 3-5 mins. They must be the last to finish before you serve lunch or supper and to garnish the plate!

Serve with baby red potatoes in butter and parsley, Spring Mix salad greens w/Dijon mustard dressing and a butter/lemon/capers sauce over pan-fried salmon steaks/slices.
