Greetings Sister!!

For many, this is a bitter sweet time of the year....

  • Yay! The kids are back to school!
  • Ahhhhhh..... my baby is a school kid now...
  • Wow, where did the years go? It's hard to mark time when you don't have a child in school....
  • Hmmm.... school sounds like an okay idea (Home schooling parent)
  • Thank you God that the kids are healthy and back from their Dad's!
  • And I became a teacher because.....???
  • Man, this coursework is really hard when you've been out of school for a decade...
  • Less to harvest, thanks to the grasshoppers...
  • Grumbling about not having air conditioning in the Church dies down....

Let's honour those with a TEACHING MINISTRY.... teachers in schools, Sabbath School teachers, teachers in Universities and other learning institutions, parents who are homeschooling, Pastors, writers, others who find that they tuck some instruction into whatever they find they are doing... The great teacher, Jesus Christ, 'will teach us in his ways, so that we may walk in his paths'. (Isaiah 2:3) Teachers, Parents, Students: Have a most blessed year! You might want to pass on your wisdom and chuckles by visiting our Parenting and Teacher forum at: http://pub99.ezboard.com/bangelcoopparentingforum

Last week, Joelle Duchesne joined Angel Co-op as a regular contributor in Just Joelle. Joelle lives with her husband near Sudbury, Ontario. She enjoys sewing, reading, "dabbling" on the Computer and cross-stitch. Joelle's grandson, Mackenzie, started to kindergarten this Fall!

Thank you for participating in the weekly PRAYER OF JABEZ Devotionals. I received such positive feedback (in emails, in person, and, of course, from those who posted on-line) that I went ahead and started another one called "Reflections on The Body". I did not include men in this set of devotionals, but feel free to pass them on to men in your address book. Keep the feedback coming!

One wonderful tradition in our School and church community is the annual Fall corn roast. Phil and Barb grow heaps of sweet corn. Glyne and Brenda offer their acreage and large fire pit for the site of the gathering. People connected with the school and/or one of the three worship bodies in Saskatoon, came together last night for this yearly event.

Ed took one look at the gigantic pile of wood and brush and suggested to Glyne, Chief-Fire-Maker, that it wouldn't burn if there wasn't adequate air circulation. Glyne assured him there would be no problem, and indeed there wasn't: what a fire!

Please remember to check the Prayer Request site to pray for those who have asked for prayer, and to add your request! When you have a breakthrough or an answer to prayer, please post it on the Prayer site so we can join in your praise and be encouraged!!

"Oh, thank God-- he's so good!
His love never runs out.
All of you set free by God, tell
the world!"
from Psalm 107, The Message

I thank you on behalf of our WM and can guarantee that you will be blessed for your generosity!
