Dear Friends,

We are  thinking of and praying for you. Without your love and support, where would this ministry to the forgotten people of the Amazon Basin be? We cannot do this without you!

Please pray for our next medical teams as they plan to leave for Peru to work from our medical launch on the Ucayali River. Some of the villages are so deep in the jungle, along streams so small, that Alberto Marin will take them there in the Cessna donated by Peru Project out of Lincoln, Nebraska. Along the way they will preach the gospel in many villages, provide medical treatment, and pull teeth.

The remote jungle area they will be serving has no electricity and very little communication with the outside world. Crocodiles lurk in the swift depths of the river. The native people survive on fish from the river, often using a banana leaf as their "plate," along with bananas, papaya, and other edible plants from the jungle. They build bamboo and thatch houses on stilts to escape the seasonal flooding of the river.

Truly it's a land not only geographically distant, but years from our techno-saturated society. But God has called us to bridge that distance. We are compelled to bring the hope of life in Christ as well as improved health and well-being to these forgotten people. And so, we go. We continue to send teams and use the resources and talents God has given us to bring His Gospel.

Thank God  for all your prayers and sacrifices. Now we have the 56-foot medical launch to navigate the Creator's Amazon highways and the  plane to reach other areas quickly and safely. Thank God we can use our hands and lives to bring medical help and, most importantly, the news of Jesus Christ's great sacrifice so the jungle people may know Him.

As I close, I want to, once again, thank you. Your prayers and financial support have richly blessed our work in a distant land, among primitive people. I appreciate your help and support more than you may know.

Con amor,

Guillermo Gow-Lee, M.D. and
Committee members
