SEARCH PROCEDURES
You can search for multiple words,
exclude certain words,
or get exact phases,
as in the following examples.
Using quote marks will find every reference which uses an exact phrase,
such as "image of his maker"
Using "and" finds passages with two words,
such as revelation and angels
Using "or" finds passages with either of two words: tobacco or smoking
Using "not" excludes a word: spirit not evil
Brackets give you a search within a search,
such as sugar and (meat or flesh)
Use an asterisk (*) for incomplete words, for example love* produces verses
references with "love" "loved" "loves" etc.
After you make your search, this page will be replaced by a list of
sources containing your word(s).
Click on one of these references for the words in their context.
After searching, use your brower's "back" button to return to the previous page.
If searching all of Ellen White's writings produces too many results, you can
search part of her publications, such as:
Search EGW's books and pamphlets
Search EGW's periodical articles
