SEARCH PROCEDURES
- Use your brower's "back" button to return to the previous page.
- Use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard for incomplete words.
For example love* produces verses with "love" "loves" "loved" etc.
- Muliple words in a word search can be in any order. Thus "God so loved" will
produce the same result as "so loved God".
- If searching for a specific reference, use a colon (:) between the chapter
and verse, such as John 3:16.
- When searching for multiple verses, place a hyphen (-) between the verses,
such as John 3:1-18.
- You can restrict a word search to a specific set of books. Use the
title or appreviation of the starting and ending books, separated by
a hyphen (-), such as Matt-John.
- If your search produces more than 15 results, it will
give you a list of references rather than complete verses. If you want the
full text of each reference to be
displayed, increase the number "15" in the last window.
- If you don't want NIV/NASB footnotes or NASB cross references included
in your search results, click to remove the X in the appropriate box.
