Christians who would communicate the GOOD NEWS of salvation to the world, need to follow:
The Seven Secrets of Communication:
LAWS OF ALLUREMENT
What will cause people to be interested in learning about our faith?
1 - Jesus
John 12:32 Jesus. says, if I be lifted up, I .will draw all men unto me
2 - Joy
Psalm 51: 12,13 The Psalmist says that once the Joy of Salvation is experienced in our own . life, then God can use us to teach transgressors, and to bring sinners to repentance
LAWS OF HUMAN EASE.,
Why would people want to continue Bible studies, once, they have started?
3 Choice
Joshua 24: 15 We can also let them choose the topic for study. And when we give reasons for our belief, they have the right to choose whether or not they will accept our reasoning.
John 16:8 It has been said that OUR job is to make people feel comfortable, so the Holy Spirit can make them feel UNCOMFORTABLE
4 - Humility
Philippians 2:3 “Consider others better than ourselves” This lets them know that we are not going to 'cram anything down their throats’ There are at least two viewpoints for everything, and if they see that we are willing to try to see it from their viewpoint, we can set them at ease.
LAWS OF DIVINE PRESSURE
But, if we do not pressure them into making a decision, what is going to persuade them to accept Jesus, and to subscribe to His true doctrines?
5 - Faith
Philemon 2:1 When Paul wrote Philemon, asking that he extend forgiveness to Onesimus, his runaway slave, he said, ''I have confidence that you will do MORE than I suggest!"
6 - Hope
Romans 8:4 “We are saved by hope.” The coming of Jesus is the blessed hope. Therefore we will do all we can to settle them into the assurance of salvation. The JOY of salvation gives US power in working for others. (Psalm 51:11-12) And the ASSSURANCE of salvation gives THEM power to hang on, when all else fails.
7 - Love
Matthew 7:12 . Jesus loves them. He died to save them. But we must show them that we ALSO love them. Jesus sacrificed to save us. We too should be willing to sacrifice, in order that others might be saved.
